The topic I intended to fully address is one that has been fully addressed and will now be fully read, slightly different yet still the same essence of the original topic. As of right now, I have already finished writing despite some changes I feel could have been made. Improvements, I should say. There are some improvements I could have made, but I have a feeling I only have so much time and so I'm limited to what I've done. Now, I must warn you this topic I'm addressing contains mentions of hatred, hate speech, hate crimes, uniquely underprivileged privileges, unintentional implications of disappointment, implied consent to difficult circumstances, alternate iterations of selves, self-shaming, mentions of murder-fueled jealousy, and attached audio documents. If you would rather read in silence, please stop listening to this immediately and begin reading the material as opposed to listening to the attachments.

Before delving into the importance of using friendly, all-inclusive language when addressing an audience populated by peoples doubtlessly across all cultures and scuttles of life, I must define the precise foundation of my disagreement with the harmful assertion implied by my dancestor's -- refer to my prior explanation if you have forgotten this word implies my ancestor as well as descendant -- network ID. Really, Karkat. I thought we had many good and long-winded discussions on the matter -- and speaking of matters... Karkat, are you cohabitating? Not that it's any of my business whether you are but the circumstances in which I arrived were absolutely inappropriate and while understand you and I have both lead quite different lives, I don't believe there's any reason for you to... Haha. Well. I'm quite familiar with humans from the dream bubbles we share. Most of them weren't like that. Isn't he much larger than you? We all have phases and I understand, despite me saying "we" and "I" I'm afraid I can't include myself in this -- vow of celibacy, you see -- but in any case, is everything all right? Moving on. While I believe free speech shouldn't be limited, as that would infringe upon the basic rights we should all have -- but don't currently have since discrimination appears to exist even here today from my brief survey of this island, hatred may lead you to speak hateful speech beyond the general blanket assertion of hatred with no description of what it is you hate, which in turn may transmute to actions. Hatred has persisted for millions and millions of sweeps and has been the cause of violent acts of anger, frustration, and rage despite the attempts from those who aren't enlightened but who strive to seek truth, fairness, and equality.

My dancestor may perceive this as hypocritical, as he is aware from our former chats that in another incarnation, at the end of my life, I -- please note you are listening to the audio file and as such you are unaware of the small, strangely-shaped symbol I have placed after the pronoun "I" which I'm inexplicitly fond of for some reason or another, but I can't seem to place why, but this symbol indicates I am not talking about myself, more than an alternate version of myself -- did give in to rage and later to hatred. My -- after this, I indicated two of those strange symbols of which I've grown fond to indicate once again I am not talking about myself -- actions caused the widespread purge of my -- here I placed three of those symbols to indicate I am still not talking about myself more than another iteration of myself with whom I don't entirely agree -- disciples and I suppose even worse than death itself must have happened to Porrim? I can't quite say I'd believe she would have been unhappy with the arrangement up till the end, but the same might not be said for the Dolorosa, as the differences between her and Porrim may be as distinct as those between the Signless-slash-Sufferer and myself. However, poring further over this debate would be broaching an inappropriate topic which has nothing to do with this other than the fact Cronus -- four symbols, this time indicating I am not speaking of Cronus, but his alternate self -- was directly responsible for her culling, fueled by what I presume to be a jealous hatred.

Please don't misunderstand. I don't believe the language of this particular network ID is true hate speech more than a potential gateway or a sentiment that may be misinterpreted as such, as it is careless and possibly intentionally hurtful, although there I would be guilty of assuming without asking questions because my dancestor is not available to interrogate on the matter. Rather, question. Careless assertions and statements may be interpreted as hostile acts of aggression, and with good reason. Again, freedom of speech is very important but it would be unwise for one to believe freedom of speech has never been manipulated to inflict harm upon others out of prejudice. Declaring hate and doing so in such a general fashion is potentially harmful, as those who might read this network ID could interpret it to mean the object of hatred was, in fact, them. In those who are not as secure with their identities, the result is a potential for insecurity and possible diminishment of previously-existing self-esteem as a direct result of this careless declaration.

We should all be aware wholesale culling and systematic subjugation can be made bearable if the intended victims of the oppressors have been manipulated to appear as objects that deserve extermination or are worth less than most in the opinion of the general public. "Cheap laughs" had at the expense of entire groups can make others take them less seriously and subsequently invalidate their struggles. Careless assertions made by one person is not quite like that, but we must all watch out for the possibility that careless assertions may influence others and persuade them to believe it's fine to continue perpetuating unacceptable actions and potentially hurtful words in the presence of others who may be harmed by them.

Withholding offensive material for the sake of not offending others is detrimental to an individual's self-expression and such freedoms must always be preserved, though it is up to us to educate those with harmful perspectives and lead them to the ultimate enlightenment where they realize they are incorrect and they should be more understanding of the fact when they communicate to large groups of persons, each with differing opinions on what is incorrect and correct, their best course of action is to tread lightly and proceed as carefully as possible with any potential topics that may require advance warnings for their triggers so those who are aware of those triggers may excuse themselves if necessary and those who are triggered may be politely escorted out while we continue to discuss these matters of utmost importance.

As I've now expressed this in a fashion where my dancestor will find it, I will be changing this network ID. Please do not look for any further audio attachments beyond the improved versions I have yet to record. Thank you.
